Rosendal Social MTB Weekend

 Cosmos Edition

20 - 22 MARCH 2026

Two days of riding through the breathtaking Eastern Free State, great accommodation, delicious food, and loads of fun with like-minded riders.

Bring your bike, your friends, and your sense of adventure — this is what small-town mountain-biking magic is all about!

Entry Fee:

R3950 per rider sharing

R4950 per rider NOT sharing

R3700 per non-rider/supporter/spouse sharing

Included in the entry fee:

  • 2 Days of riding on gravel roads and farm roads around Rosendal (50km and 30km route options on Day 1 and 25km on Day 2). Longer route options are also available for those wanting to do a longer ride.

  • 2 Nights luxury accommodation in a selection of guesthouses in Rosendal. Please note that you may share a house with other riders but you will always have your own bedroom and private bathroom. So only communal areas like a lounge and kitchen may be shared. 

  • 5 Mouth-watering meals from Friday dinner to Sunday brunch at various restaurants in town.

  • Event specific, high quality t-shirt

ROUTE & DISTANCE OPTIONS

All riding will be on gravel roads and jeep track in the Rosendal countryside. There will be no technical riding.

The gravel roads are not regularly graded and maintained so using gravel bikes are not not advised. 

The routes are self-navigation so GPX route files will be send to all participants prior to event weekend.

If you don't have a GPS device you can use the free app, GPX Viewer, on your mobile phone.
